This pump provides multiple Multi-Speed settings for in-ground pool circulation. For customers who want to bring this pump onto a Hayward Omni or OmniX automation system, a VSPOMNIX retrofit module is available separately for Hayward XE Series pumps.

Because the MaxFlo XE steps between preset speeds rather than running on a continuously variable drive, dial in the lowest preset that still satisfies your filter's turnover and skimming needs for everyday circulation, then bump up to a higher speed only when running pressure-side cleaners, spa jets, or heater calls. When winterizing, remove the drain plug and store it with its gasket so it's ready for spring startup.
